We all know those days, those "I hate everyone and everything", "life sucks so leave me alone" and "why do people even have to talk to me?" kind of days.
However, there are ways of dealing with them.
For example, misanthropic means "having or showing a dislike for other people", a good word wich you can use to inform others that you're "feeling a bit misanthropic, so could do with being alone for a while, sorry, maybe you've been watching too much Daria".
Here I feel I should mention that, almost counter intuitively, watching Daria isn't nessesarily a good idea as it is likely to further your misanthropy and make it harder to be sociable/not-rude. On the other hand, if you have no obligation to come into contact with human beings for some time, watching Daria can be good to sulk in self-misanthropic-pity.
I would would recommend someecards, as they can show you how others identify with your situation, make you laugh, and progressively become more lighthearted until you can just about face the world again without making everyone around you miserable and having to physically restrain yourself from blurting out un-welcome, cynical comments.
Here are a few for empathy to your situation:
Here some telling of the threats you are passive-aggressively thinking to yourself:
Now you realise just how stupid everyting seems, and it's not worth your time.
(The princess bride vibez anyone? I love this...)
Then comes a regression in age. Your being more immature has gotten the inner 5 year old in you is twitching. Why can't you just be 5 again and not have to tolerate any of this nonsense?
See? Now you wish you were 5 and it is harder to be cynical.
Finally, I leave you with a grossly overlooked phenomenon, which we should all be aware and thankful of:
I hope I have helped with your case of misanthropy. If I haven't, you can come over to my pillow fort and join my stuffed-animal picnic.
